    my `76 GOLF 3dr

    hi all!
I've finally gotten around to taking some pics of my golf! as you will see, the interior is half stripped and the new suspension and wheels from golfworx are on and have settled down a bit. looks pretty good, and as this is (or will be) my daily, i think the ride height is good enough for now. the interior is alf stripped atm cause im retriming the seats which as it turns out is quite.. fun... haha its a slow process, but i want to do it right so, slow it is! happily the car is really rust free to a mk 1 which is really good but the paint will need a good cut and polish, or maybe a respray in the future, and there's a little bit of panel beating that needs to be taken car of, but nothing major!

i should be getting chrome mk 1 mirrors in the mail anytime soon from XX1.8T and the other day i also got a passat carby (from golfworx) and a new alternator and TS manifold and a few heads and other things from ausgolfer, thanks fellas!
and thanks golfman whose also helping me with alot of this build.

    pics: (hopefully)

    just a quick update:
the seat re-trimming is going to take so long to do, just cause uni's started again, so free time is rare-ish, but wat I've don looks pretty good so far.

should be getting chrome mirrors tomorrow, they'll go on pretty quick I'd imagine and,

got an abrasive sanding disc and some kill rust, so now I can attack the very little bit of surface rust on the inner gaurds and a few smalls spots on the body too maybe then hopefully a cut and polish sometime soon.. maybe.. if i have anyspare time...
